Hillingdon Table Tennis club this week went to Denham, the home of last seasons champions in the Chalfont League, needing a 7-3 win for the title, they won
The Hillingdon club was formed in 1999 by Allen Roperand played at Hayes Stadium, they are now located at Swakeleys Girls School and training takes place on Monday and Friday evenings between 7pm and 9pm.

In the W&H 2nd division Hillingdon A went through the whole season undefeated with both Andrew Hagger (44) and Israel Awolaja (11) finishing undefeated, Gaurav Aravind only lost one set to Branislav Zivkovic (P23 W22). Sahil Shah (P43 W29) and Nicholas Li (P32 W 21) also had excellent seasons.
In the 5th division Hillingdon B finished joint top with 91 points but lost out to Sudbury Hill E who won one more match.Stephen Elliot 71%, Olu Phillips 67% and Rahul Aurangabadkar 65% made the biggest contributions.
In division 6 Hillingdon C were runaway champions beating Lowlands K by some 29 points. Luke Shelbourn Frost (P41 W38) led the way ably assisted by Mateusz Trabszo (P26 W 23) George Reidy (P18 W15) Tim Cook (P32 W20) and not forgetting Steve Keyes (P9 W7).
Andrew along with Gaurav Aravind, Israel Awolaja, Nic Li (coach) and Sahil Shah were also promoted as champions in the British League.
Anybody associated with Hillingdon should be proud, it will be difficult to replicate such a successful season.
